Friends? was Angela's submission comic to the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont for the MFA program. (She was accepted.) The requirements were simply that is be "starring yourself, a snowman, a robot, and a piece of fruit." The inkwork is all done with a crow quill pen and India ink. Then she layed out the comic in InDesign. The cover and book ends (which is the last page of the online comic) were both done in watercolor and ink. She also had to write an essay for her submission packet. It had to be titled either "Cartoonists are like that" or "The Future." Writer: Angela Boyle
